Our commitments, and how to check them
Every commitment below is kept by design, not by declaration. Next to each one: a way to check it yourself, without taking our word for it.
Free, for everyone, no strings attached
No paid activity, no gated content, no account to create. What a visitor sees is the whole of what exists: nothing unlocks, nothing costs extra. Free access is not a loss leader: it is the very purpose of the association, written into article 2 of its bylaws: “free of charge and without any commercial consideration”.
Open and reusable, by default
Everything we publish (texts, exercises, data) is under a Creative Commons BY 4.0 license. Teachers, associations, public libraries: reuse it, adapt it, translate it, with no permission needed. An educational resource does more good when it travels: an open license multiplies every hour of work behind it, far beyond our own sites.
Zero data collection
No cookies, no trackers, no third-party analytics, no requests to third-party servers. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. It is also what makes our tools quick to adopt at school: no student data is processed, so there is nothing to declare and nothing to get signed off.
Accessible, for real
Contrasts calculated to the WCAG AA standard at every publication (the check is blocking), keyboard navigation, readable text, and a settings panel on every page: text size, high contrast, spacing, audio reading. The accessibility statement details what is in place, and what we know about its limits.
Multilingual from the first resource
Education does not stop at the borders of the French language. Our first resource launched in 7 languages, including Arabic, written right to left, along with Hindi and Bengali: languages rarely served by free educational resources, and spoken by hundreds of millions of people. Languages are planned at the design stage, never tacked on as an afterthought.
Volunteer-run, with nothing to sell
The association is run entirely by volunteers: its members design, publish and administer everything themselves. Nothing is for sale anywhere: no advertising, no sponsored content, no commercial partnership, no selling of data. That disinterestedness is the very shape of the structure, a French nonprofit association under the 1901 law whose statutes rule out any commercial consideration.
Figures you can recount
No number on this site is written by hand: pages, languages, actions, traffic, everything is recounted by the build at every publication from data published alongside. A figure nobody can check proves nothing: ours come out of open, dated files, with their method and their limits written in the same place.

They are not a charter framed on a wall: the Method page describes the protocol that keeps them, the Impact & figures page counts what is online, and the Accessibility page owns up to its limits too. You do not have to take our word for it: all of it can be checked.
